My Best Friend. This litter was born a day early, I went off to work after checking Brandy and there was no sign she was going to whelp. My shift started at 7.30am by 8oclock I had very bad stomach pains by 9 I was over at the Nurses’ station flat on my back with nausea and pain, I was put in a taxi and sent home. Before bed I thought Better check on Brandy, she was just giving birth to puppy number 6....Shady! As soon as she had finished my pain and nausea had totally gone! I picked Shady up first and knew I was going to keep her....I just kept telling Nathan that no one was interested in this pup till it was too late and she was firmly established in the family.
Shady sleeps with me and we have probably only spent 10 nights apart since she was weaned. I call Shady "My Lil Human Dog Child" She is very intelligent and would have made a very good working dog. She loves kisses and has to have one when we return home or as we leave. Unfortunately
she can open fridges, pantries and doors with the long push down handles. She can let herself in and out the ranch slider and jumps in and out the
windows! Very naughty! when she is out with the other dogs she shows no sign of being a spoiled brat preferring to let the others get the attention and
behaving like a dog should. She loves to go anywhere in the car and is a very good traveller, but hates to be left at home and lets you know it too.
Her favourite thing is to lick the plates before they go to the dishwasher! I love Shady more than I ever thought I could love anything (sorry Nathan)!
